Valeria, hello! Please tell us what inspires you in your work? And what projects or achievements do you consider your most important successes at the moment?
Hi! I would say that I am inspired by certain non-routine tasks, the process of their implementation and ultimately the
result itself – when you can say: “This turned out great!” I really like it when step by step you manage to build a product
or algorithm that clearly benefits everyone: me, my colleagues or partners. This gives an incentive to move on, do even
more, learn something new.
Among the latest projects that I consider successful, Marketers on Mobile Spring we can name the creation of an
attribution model for a mobile application and ensuring transparent analytics for all partners so that they have the opportunity to optimize advertising campaigns for our KPIs.
As part of this project, we had to reconsider which sources kenya business email list we consider significant in the touch chain, which attribution windows we will use, determine how many days the cohort “lives” and, ultimately, ensure that agencies regularly receive data in the required granularity. This model had to be modified a couple of times at the start, but now there is an understanding that it is optimal. There are still several tasks in the work on this project, but a huge path has been covered together with the teams of digital marketing, analytics, product, developers and data engineers, without whom this would definitely not have happened! ????
What personal and professional qualities do you think help to conquer digital and beyond?
I think that digital specialists should be flexible. This is a very Marketers on Mobile Spring dynamic area where
everything can change quickly. It is important to adapt to these transformations quickly enough.
I also consider openness and communication skills to plant trees while searching the web be essential. There are work situations that you don’t understand
very well, and then you have to go and boldly ask your colleagues for information, get to the bottom of the truth, and
learn from their experience.
Also, in my opinion, you need to be structured, be able to look at the problem from afar and then break it down into
separate stages, subtasks. This saves a lot of time and resources, allows you to focus on the main thing and not get
stuck on the secondary.
In digital, it is important to adapt to transformations quickly enough.
Do you remember examples of people who have incredibly motivated you and continue to inspire and maintain your enthusiasm?
At the start of my career, in a digital Marketers on Mobile Spring agency, where I started as an accounting assistant, I
worked on a project where one girl was responsible for promoting a mobile application on the client’s side. She is very
strong in her field, which personally initially caused me fear, but later rather motivated me to independently immerse
myself in the specifics of mobile marketing. I wanted to prove to myself that I can go into the tracker myself,
understand all the reports and fields of raw data, phone database and even argue somewhere with a team of specialists
who were directly involved in launching advertising campaigns ???? Probably, this was my first big step into mobile.
If we talk about inspiration, then I am curious to watch the representatives of Russian brands (these can be founders,
marketers, and brand managers), read their channels, where you can sometimes get some ideas, both for work and for
some personal goals.
