Creating a new advertising campaign
To create a new advertising campaign, go to the Company tab and click “Create”.
Here you can select the advertising target.
In the Russian version of the adaptation, it is a little unclear contact lists what exactly the goals are that are given to choose from: Load, Conversation, Installing the application.
Therefore, for convenience, we recommend switching to English – in the upper right corner.
Now we see that Load is Traffic (attracting more traffic), Conversation is Conversions (attracting as many conversions as possible). Most likely, most of you will be interested in this goal. If you want to attract an audience that will make requests, target actions, then you need to choose the Traffic (Conversions) item.
We select it.
Campaign Name – here you need to give a name to the advertising campaign that is understandable to you; later, this name can be embedded in UTM tags.
Create Split Test – creating two groups with the same ads and different targeting.
Budget – budget of the advertising campaign. It can be daily or lifetime, the minimum budget that can be set is $50.
This means that the daily budget for all ads and all groups that will be inside the advertising campaign will be $50.
Then it is more convenient to return to Russian again.
Create an ad group
Create an ad group:
Group name – is pulled up automatically, but you can change it. We recommend naming your ad groups according to the configured targeting and selected audience.
Placement types – automatic and with the ability to select. Automatic placement is placement on all platforms related to TikTok, but for Russia this is not very relevant. We are interested in advertising in TikTok itself, so we click “Select placement” and leave only TikTok.
